caution During troubleshooting, a diagnosis code associated with other systems may be set when the electric motor switch is turned ON with connector(s) disconnected. On the completion of troubleshooting, confirm all systems for diagnosis code(s). If diagnosis code(s) are set, erase them all.

  • *1: If diagnosis codes No. B1709 or B1760 is set, there may be an error with the coding data stored in the ETACS-ECU.
  • *2: Does not detect historic trouble.
  • *3: When the diagnosis codes relating to the CAN or LIN communication error are set, make sure of the vehicle equipment. When the vehicle is not equipped with the system the ETACS-ECU communicates to, the diagnosis code is always output. This is not abnormal.
