  • The working near to a naked flame or sparks must be avoided.
  • Attention during engine running:

  1. Do not work on the high pressure fuel circuit.
  2. Always remain out of the way of possible fuel jet that may result in serious injuries.
  3. Do not place your hand near the high pressure fuel circuit.
  4. Do not disconnect the fuel return pipe from the diesel injectors.
  • Attention before service:

    1. After turning the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position, wait for 30 minutes before starting any repair work.
      This period of time is required so that the high pressure fuel circuit pressure can get back to the atmospheric pressure.
    2. The fuel return from the diesel injectors goes via a valve calibrated to 10 bars (1 MPa). After the engine stops, wait 10 minutes before disconnecting the fuel return pipe from the diesel injectors.
