Code No. P1247: Trustful Check A/T


FUNCTION



  • Checks for an abnormal signal of A/T-ECU.

TROUBLE JUDGMENT


Check Condition
  • Ignition switch is "ON" position.
Judgment Criterion
  • A torque demand signal from A/T-ECU is not normal.

PROBABLE CAUSES



  • Failed A/T system
  • Failed engine-ECU

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

STEP 1. M.U.T.-III diagnosis code

  • Reconfirmation of diagnosis code.

Q. Is diagnosis code set?
Go to Step 2 .
Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunctions ).

STEP 2. M.U.T.-III diagnosis code

  • Confirm the diagnosis code is outputted from the A/T-ECU.

Q. Is diagnosis code set?
Perform troubleshooting of the A/T system (Refer to GROUP 23C - Troubleshooting - Check Chart for Diagnosis Codes ).
Replace the engine-ECU.
