The ETACS-ECU terminal No.15 is earthed by pressing the ASC OFF switch. The ON/OFF state of the ASC OFF switch is transferred from ETACS-ECU to ASC-ECU via the CAN bus line.

This may be caused by the open circuit in the ASC OFF switch circuit.

- Damaged wiring harness and connectors
- ASC OFF switch malfunction
- Malfunction of ETACS-ECU
- The ASC OFF switch is pressed for more than 15 seconds (The system returns to normal by pressing the ignition switch to the "OFF" position and to the "ON" position).

- Measure the voltage between the terminal No.15 and the body earth.
