caution
  • If the engine-ECU is replaced, another ECU related to KOS system should not be replaced together. If at least two ECUs need to be replaced, replace one ECU and then use the M.U.T.-III to register its ID in the ECU . Then proceed to the replacement of the other ECU.
  • If the engine-ECU is replaced, perform the coding for it.
  • If the engine-ECU is replaced, use the M.U.T.-III to write the Chassis No. (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Perform Chassis Number Writing ).
  • If the engine ECU is replaced, always make the engine-ECU learn the throttle valve control servo (Refer to GROUP 00 - Precautions before Service, How to make the ECU learn the throttle valve control servo ).
