caution If there is any problem in the CAN bus lines, an incorrect diagnosis code may be stored. Prior to this diagnosis, diagnose the CAN bus lines (Refer to GROUP 54C - CAN Bus Diagnostics Table ).

TROUBLE JUDGEMENT


The PHEV-ECU stores the diagnosis codes below when the BMU fails.

  • Code No. P0A80: Defective cell
  • Code No. P0AA6: Leakage-of-electricity detected
  • Code No. P0AA7: Leakage-of-electricity detection circuit fails
  • Code No. P0ABF: Electric current sensor in the drive battery fails
  • Code No. P10C7: Timeout of communication with the FMCU
  • Code No. P10C8: Timeout of communication with the RMCU
  • Code No. P10C9: Timeout of communication with the GCU
  • Code No. P1A2D: Drive battery cooling fan fails
  • Code No. P1AF4: BMU control power supply voltage abnormality
  • Code No. P1AF5: Automatic numbering not completed successfully
  • Code No. P1B1E: Communication with the ETACS-ECU impossible
  • Code No. P1A30: Abnormal cell voltage (Extremely low voltage)
  • Code No. P1A31: Abnormal cell voltage (Extremely high voltage)
  • Code No. P1A32: Drive battery temperature too high
  • Code No. P1A33: Cell voltage sensor in CMU fails
  • Code No. P1A34: Drive battery temperature sensor in CMU fails
  • Code No. P1A35: Balancer in CMU fails
  • Code No. P1A38: Communication with the CMU impossible
  • Code No. P1A39: Signal indicating the charging status of the drive battery fails
  • Code No. P1AE6: EEPROM fails
  • Code No. P1B2F: The BMU or the drive battery out of specification
  • Code No. P1B33: The drive battery abnormally cold
  • Code No. P1B34: CMU sensor fails
  • Code No. U1161: Cannot communicate with the PHEV-ECU
  • Code No. U1921; Backup communication fails

PROBABLE CAUSES



  • Malfunction of CAN bus line
  • Malfunction of BMU
