CHECK AND REPLACEMENT OF THE HIGH-VOLTAGE FUSE INSIDE THE INVERTER


danger When servicing the high-voltage system parts, be sure to wear the specified protection equipment and disconnect the service plug to interrupt the high-voltage supply (Refer to ).

<POWER DRIVE UNIT>


1.Remove the power drive unit cover and the PN cable cover. (Refer to .)
2.Remove the inverter service lid (Refer to .)

3.Remove each installation screw and remove the high-voltage fuse.
4.Check the resistance between high-voltage fuse No. 3 terminals. If there is no continuity (open circuit), replace the high-voltage fuse.

caution When tightening the installation screws, secure the high-voltage fuse terminal portion, because there is a risk of damage to the high-voltage fuse when an excessive force applies to the high-voltage fuse main body.
Tighten each installation screw to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 7.0 ± 3.0 N·m
6.Install the inverter service lid (refer to .)
7.Install the PN cable cover and the power drive unit cover. (Refer to .)

1.Remove cargo floor box lid A, cargo floor box lid D, and cargo floor box. (Refer to GROUP 52A - Interior Trim .)
2.Remove the EV motor control unit cover. (Refer to .)
3.Remove the service lid. (Refer to .)

4.Remove the mounting screws and remove the high-voltage fuse Nos 4 and 5.
5.check the resistance between the high-voltage fuses, and if there is no continuity (open circuit), replace the high-voltage fuses.
