CHECK OF INSULATION RESISTANCE <ON BOARD CHARGER/DC-DC CONVERTER>


caution When the insulation resistance is measured, set the range of the special tool electric insulation tester (MB992355) to 500 V. When the insulation resistance is measured at the range more than 500 V, the component may be damaged.
1.Use the special tool electric insulation tester (MB992355) and set the voltage range to 500V.

2.Measure the insulation resistance at the following 4 places: I) between on board charger / DC-DC converter high voltage terminal A-1 and on board charger / DC-DC converter bracket A installation portion C; II) between on board charger / DC-DC converter high voltage terminal A-2 and on board charger / DC-DC converter bracket A installation portion C; III) between on board charger / DC-DC converter high voltage terminal B-1 and on board charger / DC-DC converter bracket A installation portion C; IIII) between on board charger / DC-DC converter high voltage terminal B-2 and on board charger / DC-DC converter bracket A installation portion C
Standard value: 10 MΩ or more
3.If the resistance deviates from the standard value, replace the on board charger/DC-DC converter.
