TROUBLE JUDGEMENT


Check Conditions
  • The power supply mode of the electric motor switch is ON, or the drive battery starts to be charged.
  • The following diagnosis code is not stored.

  1. P1AA8: Local CAN (for drive battery) signal time-out
Judgement Criterion
  • The abnormal cell voltage is detected.
note If the battery module is replaced, the diagnosis code should be stored because the battery module having the different battery cell status is mounted. However, that is normal.

FAIL-SAFE AND BACKUP FUNCTION



  • Not available

PROBABLE CAUSE



  • The module (battery cell and CMU) in the drive battery is failed.

    4. item No. 69 - 76: Cell 036 - 043 voltage (CMU ID04)
    5. item No. 81 - 88: Cell 048 - 055 voltage (CMU ID05)
    6. item No. 105 - 112: Cell 072 - 079 voltage (CMU ID07)
    7. item No. 117 - 124: Cell 084 - 091 voltage (CMU ID08)
    8. item No. 129 - 136: Cell 096 - 103 voltage (CMU ID09)

OK: The difference is small between the average cell voltage and the battery cell voltage.

Remove the battery tray cover (Refer to ). Replace the drive module having the abnormal battery cell. Then, assemble the drive battery assembly (Refer to ).

STEP 4. M.U.T.-III diagnosis code.



  1. Erase the stored diagnosis codes.
  2. Activate the air-conditioner system or perform the normal charging. Charge and discharge the drive battery
  3. Without depressing the brake pedal, operate the electric motor switch with the power supply mode of the electric motor switch OFF to turn ON the power supply mode of the electric motor switch.
  4. After 10 seconds, confirm whether the diagnosis codes are stored.

Remove the battery tray cover (Refer to ). Replace the battery module having the abnormal battery cell. Then, assemble the drive battery assembly (Refer to ).
