Code No. P1C02: DCDC Output Voltage Abnormal




TROUBLE JUDGEMENT


Check Condition
  • The PHEV-ECU allows the DC-DC converter to operate.
Judgement Criterion
  • The output voltage is abnormal.

FAIL-SAFE AND BACKUP FUNCTION



  • The output of DC-DC converter is stopped.

PROBABLE CAUSE



  • The auxiliary battery is failed.
  • The external power supply is connected.
  • The on board charger/DC-DC converter is failed.

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE


STEP 1. Auxiliary battery condition check


Q. Has high voltage ever been charged to the auxiliary battery from the external power supply before?

Erase the diagnosis code, check end
Go to Step 2.

STEP 2. Check auxiliary battery



  • Check auxiliary battery (Refer to GROUP 54A - Auxiliary Battery - On-vehicle Service - Battery Test ).

Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 3.
Replace the auxiliary battery.

STEP 3. M.U.T.-III diagnosis code.



  • Reconfirmation of diagnosis code.

Q. Is the diagnosis code stored?

Replace the on board charger/DC-DC converter.
