Code No. P1D37: AC Input Fuse Abnormal Or AC Power Supply Equipment Abnormal




TROUBLE JUDGEMENT


Check Condition
  • While the on board charger is allowed to be charged from the PHEV-ECU.
Judgement Criterion
  • The abnormal AC power supply or the abnormal AC input fuse is detected.

FAIL-SAFE AND BACKUP FUNCTION



  • The charge is stopped.

PROBABLE CAUSES



  • The AC power supply (at the supply side) is abnormal.
  • When charging is performed with many plugs in one outlet or the extension cord.
  • The charging cable is failed.
  • The on board charger/DC-DC converter is failed

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE


danger When high voltage system components are served, be sure to pull service plugs to shut down high voltage (Refer to ).
danger When pulling service plugs, wear the specified protective equipment (Refer to ).

STEP 1. M.U.T.-III diagnosis code


Q. Is any other diagnosis code than P1D37 stored?

Inspection Chart for Diagnosis Code (Refer to ).
Go to Step 2.

STEP 2. Check the control box of the EV charging cable (normal charger).



  • During normal charging

Q. Is the FAULT indicator illuminated or does it blink?

Inspection procedure: FAULT indicator is lit (Refer to ), Inspection Procedure: FAULT indicator blinks (Refer to ).
Go to Step 3.

STEP 3. Check of open circuit and damage in COLD line and HOT line between normal charging connector and on board charger/DC-DC converter connector.

Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 4.
Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.

  • Reconfirmation of diagnosis code.

Q. Is the diagnosis code stored?

Replace the on board charger/DC-DC converter.
Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunctions ).
