Through the request torque calculated by the accelerator pedal position sensor and so on, engine speed, engine coolant temperature, intake air temperature and barometric pressure, the engine-ECU calculates the target boost pressure.
Comparing the target boost pressure with the actual boost pressure, the engine-ECU controls the duty ratio of the variable geometry control solenoid valve so that the actual boost pressure can be the target boost pressure (feedback control).
