REMOVAL SERVICE POINT



<<A>> A/T DRIVE PLATE BOLT REMOVAL



1.Use special tool flywheel stopper (MD998781) to secure the A/T drive plate.
2.Remove the A/T drive plate bolts.

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINTS



>>A<< CRANKSHAFT REAR OIL SEAL INSTALLATION



1.Apply a small amount of engine oil to the entire inner diameter of the crankshaft rear oil seal lip.
2.Use special tool crankshaft rear oil seal installer (MD998718) to press-fit the crankshaft rear oil seal.

>>B<< CRANKSHAFT A/T DRIVE PLATE ADAPTER/A/T DRIVE PLATE/A/T DRIVE PLATE ADAPTER PLATE INSTALLATION



Install the crankshaft A/T drive plate adapter and A/T drive plate adapter plate on the A/T drive plate in the direction shown in the illustration.

>>C<< A/T DRIVE PLATE BOLT INSTALLATION



1.Use special tool flywheel stopper (MD998781) to secure the A/T drive plate in the same manner as removal.
2.Tighten the A/T drive plate bolts to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 74 ± 2 N·m

>>D<< CRANKSHAFT FRONT OIL SEAL INSTALLATION



1.Apply a small amount of engine oil to the entire inner diameter of the crankshaft front oil seal lip.
2.Apply a small amount of engine oil to the outer diameter of special tool crankshaft front oil seal installer (guide) (MD998717) and install it to the crankshaft.
3.Use special tool crankshaft front oil seal installer (MD998717) to press-fit the crankshaft front oil seal.

>>E<< TIMING BELT TRAIN SPACER/CRANKSHAFT ANGLE SENSING BLADE/CRANKSHAFT CAMSHAFT DRIVE SPROCKET INSTALLATION



To prevent the crankshaft pulley mounting bolt from being loosened, wipe off the dirt on the crankshaft sprocket and the crankshaft as shown in the figure. Also, wipe off the dirt on the crankshaft spacer, crankshaft sensing blade, crankshaft sprocket, and crankshaft as shown in the figure. Then degrease the areas, and install them.
