  • Malfunction of the inside transmission antenna assembly (rear)
  • Malfunction of the KOS-ECU
  • Damaged wiring harness and connectors

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE


STEP 1. Connector check: D-10 Inside transmission antenna assembly (rear) connector, C-08 KOS-ECU connector


Q. Is the check result normal?





STEP 2. Check the wiring harness between the D-10 inside transmission antenna assembly (rear) connector terminal No. 1, 5 and the C-08 KOS-ECU connector terminal No. 29, 41.



note Prior to the wiring harness inspection, check C-17 intermediate connector and repair if necessary.

Q. Is the check result normal?





STEP 3. Keyless operation system communication test



Antennas to be checked
    Rear antenna (indoor)
OK: Normal is displayed.

Q. Is the check result normal?





STEP 4. Check whether the diagnosis code is reset.


(1)Erase the diagnosis code.
(2)Turn the power supply mode of the engine switch from OFF to ON.
(3)Check if the diagnosis code is set.
