DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE


STEP 1. Power supply fuse check


Q. Is the fuse in good condition?





STEP 2. Battery check



Q. Is the battery in good condition?





STEP 3. Charging system check



Q. Is the charging system in good condition?





STEP 4. Connector check: C-406 ETACS-ECU connector


Q. Is the check result normal?





STEP 5. Voltage measurement at the C-406 ETACS-ECU connector.


(1)Disconnect the connector, and measure at the wiring harness side.
(2)Measure the voltage between the C-406 ETACS-ECU connector terminal No. 2 and the body earth.
OK: System voltage

Q. Is the check result normal?





STEP 6. Wiring harness check between the C-406 ETACS-ECU connector terminal No. 2 and the fusible link (36) <petrol> or (38) <diesel>
