SUPPORT POSITIONS FOR A GARAGE JACK, RIGID RACKS, SINGLE-POST LIFT OR DOUBLE-POST LIFT AND PLATE TYPE LIFT


<GARAGE JACK>

  • Always support the vehicle at the specified garage jack setting positions. If the vehicle is supported at other than the specified positions, the vehicle may be damaged or an unexpected accident may occur.
  • When lifting the rear side, do not support the vehicle at the electric motor unit, transmission, or under cover (hatched area shown in the figure). If the vehicle is supported at the electric motor unit, transmission, or under cover (hatched area shown in the figure), the vehicle may be damaged.


<RIGID RACKS>


warning Always support the vehicle at the specified jack setting position (notched position). If the vehicle is supported at other than the specified positions, a deformation to vehicle or unexpected accident may occur. Use caution not to support the vehicle at the under cover (hatched area shown in the figure).


<SINGLE-POST LIFT OR DOUBLE-POST LIFT>

<PLATE TYPE LIFT>

  • Use caution not to support with the spacer or others at the under cover part.
  • Be careful not to contact the plate of plate type lift against the trailing arm bracket in the rear. If the vehicle is lifted with the plate contacted against the trailing arm bracket, the vehicle may be damaged.
