QUICK CHARGING CONTROL SYSTEM CIRCUIT



OPERATION
- The quick charger communicates with EV-ECU via the local
CAN (for the quick charger).
DIAGNOSIS CODE SET CONDITIONS
- After the quick charging approval signal is set from
ON to OFF, if the charging current does not stop for 10 seconds or longer, the diagnosis code
No. P1B02 will be set.
- When the quick charger contactor drive relay is set to OFF, if the conditions that
the quick charger power supply signal is OFF, quick charger start signal is OFF, and quick charger lock
signal on the local CAN (for quick charger) is OFF are not met for 10 seconds or longer, the diagnosis
code No. P1B03 will be set.
PROBABLE CAUSES
- Damaged wiring harness or connector(s)
- Malfunction of quick charger

STEP 1. Connector check: G-10 quick charging connection, C-106, C-111 EV-ECU connector |

Repair the damaged connector. |

STEP 2. Check the wiring harness between G-10 quick charging connection terminal No. 4, 6, 10 and C-111 EV-ECU connector terminal No. 111, 124 and C-106 EV-ECU connector terminal No. 4. |
| Check the signal lines for short to earth or open circuit. |

Is the check result normal?

Check the quick charger. Then go to Step 3. |

Repair the wiring harness. |

STEP 3. Diagnosis code recheck |
| Check again if the diagnosis code is set to the EV-ECU. |
| (1)Erase the stored diagnosis code. |
| (2)Set the electric motor switch from the "LOCK" (OFF) position to the "ON" position. |
| (3)Check if the diagnosis code is set. |
