IMPROVEMENT OF BRAKING PERFORMANCE

• The 9-inch single brake booster with brake assist mechanism, which determines an emergency exists based on the brake pedal depression speed and force and provides the maximum braking force, has been adopted.
  
• The Φ257 mm ventilated disc brake has been equipped in the front, and the Φ203 mm leading-trailing drum brake in the rear.
  

IMPROVEMENT IN SAFETY

• X-type piping of brake lines have been adopted for the front and rear wheels.
  
• The brake booster is arranged at the vehicle centre and offset to the pedal arm, adopting a construction that suppresses the pedal arm from intruding towards the footwell at a collision.
  
• The brake pedal intrusion suppressing construction has been adopted which suppresses the brake pedal from itruding towards the footwell at a collision and alleviates the impact to driver’s lower limbs.
  
• To the front brake, the brake pads with audible wear indicator are adopted which warn the driver of the wear limit.
