COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM
Current trouble
- If the jam prevention function is operated three times or more in succession, ETACS-ECU
sets the diagnosis code No. 4005.
- If the diagnosis code No. 4005 is set as past trouble, carry out diagnosis with
particular emphasis on wiring and connector(s) in the CAN bus line. For diagnosis procedures,
refer to How to cope with past trouble (Refer to GROUP 00, How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service
Points - How to Treat Past Trouble
).
PROBABLE CAUSES
- Malfunction of the rear power window motor (RH)
- Malfunction of the rear power window sub switch (RH)
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE |
STEP 1. Confirm the rear power window <right side> learning function. |
(1)Check that the rear power window sub switch (RH) has learned the fully closed position
of the window (Refer to ). |
| (2)On completion, check that diagnosis code No.4005 is not reset. |
