Inspection Procedure 3: The blower air volume cannot be changed
COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM
PROBABLE CAUSES
- Malfunction of the A/C temperature control resistor
- Damaged the wiring harness or connectors
- Malfunction of the blower switch
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE |
STEP 1. Check that the blower motor operates when the blower switch is moved to the "4 (HI)" position. |
| (1)Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position. |
| (2)Turn the blower switch to the "4 (HI) " position. |

STEP 2. Connector check: C-06 blower switch connector |

| Replace the blower switch. |

| Replace the A/C temperature control resistor. |

STEP 6. Check the wiring harness between C-06 blower switch connector (terminals 2, 1 and 4) and C-23 A/C temperature control resistor connector (terminals 4, 3 and 2). |
