ACTUATORS

HYDRAULIC UNIT

note For the internal hydraulic circuit of the hydraulic unit, refer to .

BRAKE WARNING LAMP, ABS WARNING LAMP, ASTC INDICATOR LAMP, ASTC OFF INDICATOR LAMP

Brake warning lamp
  • For approximately 3 seconds after the ignition key is turned ON (Initial check for the brake warning lamp.)
  • When malfunction occurs in EBD (Stays ON until the ignition switch is turned OFF.)
  • When the G & yaw rate sensor or steering wheel sensor has not learned the neutral point (Flashes at a rate of 1 Hz.)
ABS warning lamp
  • For approximately 3 seconds after the ignition key is turned ON (Initial check for the ABS warning lamp.)
  • When illumination is required by operating the actuator forcibly
  • When malfunction occurs in ABS (Stays ON until the ignition switch is turned OFF.)
  • When the supply voltage for ASTC-ECU is abnormally reduced (Turns OFF when the normal supply voltage is resumed.)
  • When the G & yaw rate sensor or steering wheel sensor has not learned the neutral point (Flashes at a rate of 1 Hz.)
ASTC indicator lamp
  • For approximately 3 seconds after the ignition key is turned ON (Initial check for the ASTC indicator lamp)
  • When illumination is required by operating the actuator forcibly
  • When the G & yaw rate sensor or steering wheel sensor has not learned the neutral point (Flashes at a rate of 1 Hz.)
  • During the ATC control (Flashes at a rate of 4 Hz.)
  • During the ASC control (Flashes at a rate of 4 Hz.)
ASTC OFF indicator lamp
  • For approximately 3 seconds after the ignition key is turned ON (Initial check for the ASTC OFF indicator lamp)
  • When illumination is required by operating the actuator forcibly
  • When the G & yaw rate sensor or steering wheel sensor has not learned the neutral point (Flashes at a rate of 1 Hz.)
  • When malfunction occurs in ABS (Stays ON until the ignition switch is turned OFF.)
  • When the ASC switch is operated and ASC is turned OFF
  • The system is stopped to protect ASTC-ECU from heat (Flashes at a rate of 2 Hz.)
