For the radiator grille and the mesh-type front bumper grille, the design
has emphasized the robust and powerful appearance.
The front bumper has overhung at the right and left corners together with the front
overfenders to suppress the airflow to the front tyres and smoothen the airflow from the bumper
to the vehicle sides.
Two types of the front bumper and radiator grille are provided.
Each end of the splash shield front is bulged to the bottom for covering front area
of front tyre so that it works as the front air dam. With this change, the wind blown in airflow
coming to under the bumper to induce negative pressure underneath the body, increasing the down
force to the front wheels.
For the connecting area with the front fender, the front bumper support brackets
made of resin have been adopted to reduce the weight and for better alignment with the body.
For club and double cab models, rear step bumper with rear fog lamps at both sides
has been installed optionally.
