STEP 1. Check the inhibitor switch. |

Replace the inhibitor switch. |

STEP 2. Connector check: B-14 Inhibitor switch connector, B-10 intermediate connector, C-20 A/T-ECU connector |
| Check for the contact with terminals. |

Go to Step 3. |
|
Repair the defective connector. |
|
STEP 3. Check the harness between inhibitor switch connector B-14 terminal No.1, 8, 2, 3 and A/T-ECU connector C-20 terminal No.55, 66, 56, 67. |
| Check the output line for open circuit or short circuit. |
