Key interlock

Inspection procedure	Inspection conditions		Items to be checked (Normal conditions)
1	Brake pedal: Depress	Ignition switch position: Other than ON	The selector lever cannot be moved to positions other than P as the selector lever push button cannot be pressed.
2	Brake pedal: Depress	Ignition switch position: ON	The selector lever can be moved to positions other than P as the selector lever push button can be pressed.
3	Selector lever position: Other than P		The ignition switch cannot be turned to the LOCK (OFF) position.
4	Selector lever position: Push button is not pressed with the selector lever at P position.		The ignition switch can be turned to the LOCK (OFF) position smoothly.

Shift lock

3	Push in the shift lock forced release switch.		The selector lever can be moved to positions other than P as the selector lever push button can be pressed.
