STEERING WHEEL SENSOR CALIBRATION

caution

If the work below is done, finally calibrate the steering wheel sensor. This is necessary because the ASTC-ECU should update the steering wheel sensor neutral point.

Steering wheel sensor removal and installation

1.Park the vehicle on a level surface.

caution

Before connecting or disconnecting the M.U.T.-III, turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.

Connect M.U.T.-III to the diagnosis connector.

3.Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.

4.Select "System Select".

5.Select "Steering angle sensor".

6.Select "Special function".

7.Select "SAS Calibration".

8.Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.

9.Disconnect M.U.T.-III.
