PROBABLE CAUSES



  • Malfunction of the rear power window motor (rear: RH)
  • Malfunction of the rear power window sub switch (rear: RH)
  • Damaged harness wires and connectors

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE


STEP 1. Connector check: E-06 rear power window sub switch (RH) connector and E-05 rear power window motor (RH) connector



Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 2.

Repair the connector.

STEP 2. Check the wiring harness between E-06 rear power window sub switch (RH) connector terminal Nos.2, 3 and E-05 rear power window motor (RH) connector terminal Nos.4, 5.




  • Check the input and output lines for open or short circuit.

Q. Is the check result normal?

Go to Step 3.

Repair the wiring harness.

STEP 3. Check whether the diagnosis code is reset.


(1)Replace the rear power window motor (RH).
(2)Check that diagnosis code is not reset.

Q. Is diagnosis code set?

Replace the rear power window sub switch (RH).
The procedure is complete.
