Use the special tool ornament remover (MB990784) to pry out the overfender.

1.Wipe the double-sided tape application surface on the front/rear overfender and clean
it with a rag moistened with the parts cleaner (MZ100387 or equivalent).

|
|
2.Tear off the double-sided tape backing paper of the front/rear overfender pad.
|
|
|
3.Install the pad to the overfender.

If the double-sided tape is difficult to affix in cold temperature, etc., warm the bonding
surfaces of the overfender to about 40 - 60°C before affixing the tape.

|
4.Firmly press in the pad to the overfender.

- The ambient temperature should be 20
to 38°C. Ensure that the working area is clean.
- If ambient temperature is less than 20°C, heat the protector film and application
surface to a temperature of 20 to 30°C.
- Be careful that air bubbles are not formed under the protector film.

Installation procedure
(1)
Wipe the protector film (1) application surface and clean it with a rag moistened
with the parts cleaner (MZ100387 or equivalent).
(2)
Remove backing paper from the protector film (1), and apply it to the specified position.
