1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

To prevents the air bag from deploying unintentionally, disconnect the passenger’s (front) air bag module connector C-02 to short the squib circuit.

Disconnect the passenger’s (front) air bag module connector C-02.
|

3.Disconnect the passenger’s air bag cut off switch connector C-39.
|

Do not insert a test probe into the terminal from its front side directly as the connector contact pressure may be weakened.
|
Make a short-circuit in connector terminals 1 and 2, and measure the resistance between connectors.

The harness, which is of less resistance (0.1 Ω or less), should be used to earth the terminals 1 and 2.
