ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT <BWC>


1.Start the engine and allow it to warm up until the temperature of the engine coolant reaches 80 °C to 90 °C.

warning Use care as engine oil could be hot.
Remove the engine oil filler cap.
3.Remove the engine room under cover extension (Refer to GROUP 51 - Under Cover ).

4.Remove the engine oil pan drain plug to drain engine oil.
5.Install a new engine oil drain plug, and then tighten the engine oil pan drain plug to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 30 N·m
6.Refill with specified quantity of engine oil.

    Specified Engine Oil:

      Vehicles with DPF: "VW 50700"
      Vehicles without DPF: "VW 50501/50601/50700"
    Total quantity (Includes volume inside engine oil filter): 4.0 L
7.Install the engine oil filler cap.
8.Let the engine run for a few minutes.
9.Stop the engine, and then check the engine oil level using the engine oil level gauge after a few minutes.
10.Install the engine room under cover extension (Refer to GROUP 51 - Under Cover ).
