1.Confirm the engine oil level is appropriate (Refer to Engine
Oil Check).

2.Warm up the engine until the engine oil temperature reaches 80°C (The radiator
fan operates once).

3.Remove the engine oil pressure switch (the brown insulation) from the oil filter bracket. 4.Install the special tool oil pressure tester (MB995216) to the portion in which the
engine oil pressure switch of the oil filter bracket is installed. 5.Start the engine. 6.When the engine speed is at 2,000 r/min, confirm the oil pressure is within the standard
range. Standard value: 200 kPa or more (at 2,000 r/min) 7.When the engine runs at high speed, confirm the oil pressure does not exceed 700 kPa.
If necessary, replace the oil filter bracket. 8.Tighten the engine oil pressure switch to the specified torque. If the sealing ring
has an oil leakage, replace the sealing ring. Tightening torque: 22 N·m
