Code No. P0500: Vehicle Speed Signal System
FUNCTION
- The engine-ECU receives vehicle speed signal from ASC-ECU via the CAN communication.
TROUBLE JUDGMENT
Check Conditions
- CAN communication is normal
- Battery positive voltage is more than 10 V and is less than 16.5 V.
- The vehicle speed signal received for 2 seconds via CAN is abnormal.
- None.
PROBABLE CAUSES
- Failed wheel speed sensor of ASC.
- Failed ASC-ECU
- Failed engine-ECU
