Code No. P1247: Trustful Check TC-SST


FUNCTION



  • Checks for an abnormal signal of TC-SST.

TROUBLE JUDGMENT


Check Condition
  • Ignition switch is "ON" position.
Judgement Criterion
  • A torque demand signal from TC-SST-ECU is abnormal.
FAIL-SAFE AND BACKUP FUNCTION
  • Torque requested by TC-SST-ECU is ignored.

PROBABLE CAUSE



  • Failed engine-ECU

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

STEP 1. M.U.T.-III diagnosis code

  • Confirm the diagnosis code is set from the TC-SST-ECU.

Q. Is diagnosis code set?
Perform troubleshooting of TC-SST system (Refer to GROUP 22E - Diagnosis Troubleshooting <TC-SST> - Diagnosis Code Chart ).
Go to Step 2.

STEP 2. M.U.T.-III diagnosis code

  • Reconfirmation of diagnosis code.

Q. Is diagnosis code set?
Replace the engine-ECU.
Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunctions ).
