Check Conditions
  • The engine is running.
  • Variable geometry control solenoid valve is not activated.
Judgment Criterion
  • The power stage is in open circuit for the specified time.

FAIL SAFE FUNCTION



  • Boost pressure control is prohibited.
  • EGR control is prohibited.
  • Torque control is operated.

PROBABLE CAUSE



  • Failed variable geometry control solenoid valve
  • Failed electrical harness in variable geometry control solenoid valve circuit
