TROUBLE JUDGMENT


Check Condition
  • The test will only be done if there is no other error shown in this test.
Judgment Criterion
  • The absolute temperature difference has a change of more than threshold within one driving cycle.


  • In the time interval the differential temperature integral exceeds threshold.

FAIL SAFE FUNCTION



  • Engine coolant temperature sensor output is used instead of fuel temperature sensor output.
  • Beginning of injection period control is prohibited.

PROBABLE CAUSE



  • Failed fuel temperature sensor
  • Failed electrical harness in fuel temperature sensor circuit
