Check Condition
  • Ignition switch: ON
Judgment Criterion
  • The fuel temperature sensor output voltage is above the threshold for the specified time.

FAIL SAFE FUNCTION



  • Engine coolant temperature sensor output is used instead of fuel temperature sensor output.
  • Beginning of injection period control is prohibited.

PROBABLE CAUSE



  • Failed fuel temperature sensor
  • Failed electrical harness in fuel temperature sensor circuit
