  • Ignition switch: ON
Judgment Criterion
  • The power stage has a short circuit to earth for the specified time.

FAIL SAFE FUNCTION



  • Boost pressure control is prohibited.
  • EGR control is prohibited.
  • Torque control is operated.

PROBABLE CAUSE



  • Failed variable geometry control solenoid valve
  • Failed electrical harness in variable geometry control solenoid valve circuit
