Check Condition
  • Ignition switch: ON
Judgment Criterion
  • Either of a short circuit to the earth, a short circuit to the battery voltage or excess temperature.

FAIL SAFE FUNCTION



  • EGR control is prohibited.

PROBABLE CAUSE



  • Failed EGR valve (DC motor)
  • Failed electrical harness in EGR valve (DC motor) circuit
