STEP 1. M.U.T.-III diagnosis code

STEP 2. Check the power window main switch.

STEP 3. Connector check: E-14 power window main switch connector

STEP 4. Resistance measurement at E-14 power window main switch connector.
| (1)Disconnect the connector, and measure at the wiring harness side. |
| (2)Measure the resistance between the E-14 power window main switch connector terminal No. 2 and the body earth. OK: Continuity (less than 2 Ω) |

STEP 5. Check of the wiring harness between the E-14 power window main switch connector terminal No. 2 and the body earth.
| note | Prior to the wiring harness inspection, check intermediate connector C-125 <LHD>, C-111 <RHD>, and repair if necessary. |
- Check the earth wires for open circuit.

STEP 6. Voltage measurement at E-14 power window main switch connector.
| (1)Disconnect the connector, and measure at the wiring harness side. |
| (2)Turn the ignition switch to the ON position. |
| (3)Measure the voltage between the E-14 power window main switch connector terminal No. 6 and the body earth. OK: Battery voltage |

STEP 7. Connector check: C-315 ETACS-ECU connector

STEP 8. Check of the wiring harness between the E-14 power window main switch connector terminal No. 6 and the C-315 ETACS-ECU connector terminal No. 8.
| note | Prior to the wiring harness inspection, check the C-38 joint connector (2) <LHD>, C-125 <LHD>, C-111 <RHD> intermediate connector, and repair if necessary. |
- Check the power supply line for open circuit.

STEP 10. Check of the wiring harness between the E-14 power window main switch connector terminal No. 1, 7 and the E-13 front power window motor (LH) connector terminal No. 4, 1 <LHD> or the E-09 front power window motor (RH) connector terminal No. 4, 1 <RHD>
- Check the input/output lines for open circuit and short circuit.
