COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM

  • If the front power window sub switch information cannot be read, front power window sub switch sets the diagnosis code No. L0846.
  • If the front passenger’s door window glass position cannot be read, front power window sub switch sets the diagnosis code No. L0850.

PROBABLE CAUSES

  • Malfunction of the front power window sub switch

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Diagnosis code recheck
Recheck if the diagnosis code is set.
(1)Erase the diagnosis code.
(2)Turn the ignition switch from the LOCK (OFF) position to the ON position.
(3)Check if the diagnosis code is set.

Q. Is the diagnosis code set?
Replace the front power window sub switch.
The diagnosis is complete.
