TROUBLE JUDGMENT


Check Condition
  • Ignition switch: ON
Judgment Criterion
  • The CAN signal is defect and the CAN does not report an error.

FAIL SAFE FUNCTION



  • Controls as if the ambient temperature is 0°C.
  • A/C: OFF
  • Operates the fan.

PROBABLE CAUSE



  • Failed ambient temperature sensor
  • Failed electrical harness in ambient temperature sensor circuit
  • Failed A/C-ECU
  • Failed engine-ECU
