Check Condition
  • Ignition switch: ON
Judgment Criterion
  • The engine coolant temperature sensor output voltage is below the threshold for the specified time.

FAIL SAFE FUNCTION



  • Engine coolant temperature is recognized as specified temperature.
  • At engine start, preheating function is always operated.

PROBABLE CAUSE



  • Failed engine coolant temperature sensor
  • Failed electrical harness in engine coolant temperature sensor circuit
