REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION <4B1>


Pre-removal Operation
  • Engine Coolant Draining (Refer to GROUP 14 - On-vehicle Service, Engine Coolant Replacement ).
  • Air Cleaner Intake Hose and Air Cleaner Assembly Removal (Refer to GROUP 15 - Air Cleaner <4B1> ).
  • Oil Filler Tube Assembly Removal (Refer to GROUP 23A - Transmission Assembly ).

 Post-installation Operation
  • Oil Filler Tube Assembly Installation (Refer to GROUP 23A - Transmission Assembly ).
  • Air Cleaner Intake Hose and Air Cleaner Assembly Installation (Refer to GROUP 15 - Air Cleaner <4B1> ).
  • Engine Coolant Refilling (Refer to GROUP 14 - On-vehicle Service, Engine Coolant Replacement ).

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINTS

1.Install each gasket with its protrusion being positioned as shown in the figure.

2.Tighten each mounting bolt to the specified torque in the order as shown in the figure.
Tightening torque: 20 ± 2 N·m

Install the EGR valve gasket so that its shaded position is set as shown in the figure.
