| caution | Before replacing the ECU, ensure that the power supply circuit, the earth circuit and the communication circuit are normal. |




PROBABLE CAUSES
- Malfunction of the exterior transmitter antenna assembly (front passenger’s side)
- Malfunction of the unlock switch (front door: RH)
- Damaged wiring harness and connectors
- Malfunction of the KOS-ECU
DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE
STEP 1. M.U.T.-III diagnosis code

Is the diagnosis code set?



STEP 2. Connector check: C-104 KOS-ECU connector, E-06 unlock sensor (front door: RH) connector
Q.
Is the check result normal?


STEP 3. Check the wiring harness between the C-104 KOS-ECU connector terminal Nos. 25, 36 and the E-06 unlock sensor (front door: RH) connector terminal Nos. 4, 2, and between the E-06 unlock sensor (front door: RH) connector terminal No. 6 and the earth.
- Check the signal and earth wires for open circuit.
| note | Before the wiring harness inspection, inspect the intermediate connectors C-113and C-114, and repair them if necessary. |
