FUNCTION



  • The engine-ECU checks whether injector correction data is written to the engine-ECU.

TROUBLE JUDGMENT


Check Condition
  • Ignition switch is in "ON" position.
Judgment Criterion
  • No record of writing injector correction data

FAIL-SAFE AND BACKUP FUNCTION



  • The rail pressure is controlled in the range between 50 and 100 MPa.
  • The fuel injection amount is restricted (Output restriction).
  • The open angle of the accelerator pedal is restricted.
  • The EGR control is stopped (fully closed).
  • The DPF regeneration is prohibited.
  • The throttle valve is opened (Electrical discontinuity).
  • The AS&G control is prohibited.

PROBABLE CAUSE



  • Failed engine-ECU

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE


STEP 1. Write the injector identification code data.



  • Write the injector identification code data. (Refer to GROUP 00 - Precautions Before Service - Injector Identification Code Registration Procedure <4N1> ).
  • After writing the injector identification code data, recheck for abnormal symptoms.

Replace the engine-ECU.
