  • A component other than Mitsubishi genuine parts or accessories is fitted on the tailgate.
  • The quarter trim interferes with the electric tailgate motor arm.
  • Door-ajar switch system failed
  • Electric tailgate main switch system malfunction
  • Tailgate sensor system malfunction
  • Damaged tailgate gas spring
  • Damaged electric tailgate motor
  • Damaged electric tailgate control unit
  • Damaged wiring harness and connectors
