Code No. P0603: EEPROM MALFUNCTION


FUNCTION



  • To check whether the information such as the idle learned value and so on is stored in the memory of engine-A/T-ECU.

TROUBLE JUDGMENT


Check Condition
  • Ignition switch is in "ON" position
Judgement Criterion
  • Last learning-data which were written when the ignition switch was in OFF is not stored correctly.

PROBABLE CAUSE



  • Failed engine-A/T-ECU

STEP 1. M.U.T.-III diagnosis code

  • Reconfirmation of diagnosis code.

Q. Is the diagnosis code set?
Replace the engine-A/T-ECU.
