Code No.P0756: Shift solenoid No.2 system (OFF sticking)

DIAGNOSIS CODE SET CONDITIONS



note When the OFF seizure of shift solenoid No.2 is detected, the normal gear ratio cannot be obtained because the gear does not change as shown in the table when the gear is in 2nd/3rd.

PROBABLE CAUSES



  • Malfunction of shift solenoid No.2
  • Damaged harness wires and connectors
  • Malfunction of the A/T-ECU

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

STEP 1. M.U.T.-III actuator test
Item 17: Shift solenoid No.2
OK: Operating sound can be heard.

Q. Is the check result normal?
Replace the shift solenoid No.2 and solenoid harness.
Go to Step 2.

STEP 2. Check whether the diagnosis code is reset.
Check again if the diagnosis code is set.

Q. Is code No.P0756 set?
Replace the A/T-ECU.
Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction ).
