Code No.P0771: Shift solenoid SR or linear solenoid No.1 system (OFF sticking)

note When the OFF seizure of shift solenoid SR or linear solenoid No.1 is detected, the normal gear ratio cannot be obtained because the gear does not change as shown in the table when the gear is in 5th.

PROBABLE CAUSES



  • Malfunction of shift solenoid SR
  • Malfunction of valve body (linear solenoid No.1)
  • Damaged harness wires and connectors
  • Malfunction of the A/T-ECU

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

STEP 1. M.U.T.-III actuator test

  • Item 20: Shift solenoid SR
  • Item 25, 26: Linear solenoid No.1
OK: Operating sound can be heard.

Q. Is the check result normal?
Replace the shift solenoid SR, valve body (linear solenoid No.1) and solenoid harness.
Go to Step 2.

STEP 2. Check whether the diagnosis code is reset.
Check again if the diagnosis code is set.

Q. Is code No.P0771 set?
Replace the A/T-ECU.
Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction ).
