PROBABLE CAUSES
- Malfunction of valve body (lock-up solenoid)
- Damaged harness wires and connectors
- Malfunction of the A/T-ECU
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE |
STEP 1. M.U.T.-III actuator test |
| Item 21, 22: Lock-up solenoid |
| OK: Operating sound can be heard. |

 Repair or replace the solenoid harness or valve body (lock-up solenoid and solenoid). |

 Go to Step 2. |

STEP 2. Check whether the diagnosis code is reset. |
| Check again if the diagnosis code is set. |

| Replace the A/T-ECU. |

| Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunction ). |
