Code No. P0603: EEPROM Malfunction


FUNCTION



  • To check whether the information such as the idle learned value and so on is stored in the memory of engine-ECU <M/T> or engine-A/T-ECU <A/T>.

TROUBLE JUDGMENT


Check Condition
  • Ignition switch is in ON position
Judgement Criterion
  • The latest learned data that was flashed while the ignition switch was in OFF position are not stored correctly

PROBABLE CAUSE



  • Failed engine-ECU <M/T> or engine-A/T-ECU <A/T>

STEP 1. M.U.T.-III diagnosis codes.

  • Reconfirmation of diagnosis code.

Q. Is the diagnosis code set?
Replace the engine-ECU <M/T> or engine-A/T-ECU <A/T>.
